I said a prayer for you today. My prayers feel so much more intense of late, particularly because of the innocent children lost recently at Annunciation Church. I’m saddened, teary, and more aware of the many, many families seeking solace and support as they face a holiday without their babies’ and children’s lives to plan for ~ the first day of school photos and stories are simply wishes!
Many of you have shared stories of the loss of your babies and children. Most recently one of you sent a note letting me know that you just lost a second baby (almost a viable age) to join his sister in memory in one of the gardens. How do you all heal from so much pain?
I said a prayer for you today, that you share your memories, including your pain, with those who ask how you’re doing…that you watch for the Helpers presented to help you heal.
I said a prayer for you today, that you keep your memories alive in conversation, and photos, and mementos.
The Garden of the Sleeping Angels was created to aid in remembering. That is our Mission, every day.
But today we are honored to write and say the names of the following babies and children lost in one September month recently or long ago: Xavier Francis Steiner, Maggie Vondrachek, Kainoa Mark Watson, Carrie Ann King, Eddie Gage Wattenbarger, Caiden & Lessin Ebel, Penelope Jane Gomez, Freya Alyse Thorp, Sophia Spalla, Rocklyn Leigh Reid, Stella June Garaghty, Angels Baby Kiefer Kelm, Harper Jo Walker, Caroline Brigid Quinlan, Helen Louise Dusek, Logan John Kacala, and Baby Hoffman.
We send you so much love ~ love that you absorb and feel today and every day. We invite your visits, your suggestions and your stories.
