March 22, 2015:
We had an early Spring, but are not quietly returning to the last of Winter.
Our growth has been amazing these past six months. So many babies to remember. Little did I know
when I signed on to be caretaker of these Gardens did I realize that the most important aspect of
the non profit is to let families know that we’re here; if not visibly in their area then in our
hearts and energy.
We had open gardens almost every weekend last summer and into Fall. Our newest focus, based on the
realization that grief is not temporary, nor is it predictable and under our control. With this in
mind we focused on recognizing our babies as seasons changed and as holidays transpired. The month of November, designated as Loss and Infant Awareness month brought several families out to leave pumpkins and fall arrangements. Our Christmas tree grew full with decorated ornaments placed by families.
We plan to have a Celebration of Angels get together, where families, care givers and friends who
so generously donated can come together and feel the incredible comfort that the Gardens and Presence
bring. The Celebration will be June 26, 2016 at 1PM. We hope to see many of you here.
Blessings, Tom and Nancy
