November Giving

We acknowledge that there are two significant ways to make a charitable donation in November:
Give to the Max Day (TOMORROW, NOV 17) is Minnesota’s annual giving day, where communities all over our state will come together and support non profit organizations near and dear to their hearts. If this is your preference, and you wish to donate to the Garden of the Sleeping Angels, please go to GiveMn.org.

The other opportunity is Giving Tuesday, is sponsored by Facebook and always falls on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (November 29 this year). Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 to encourage people to do good. Our Giving Tuesday platform sponsor is Facebook, FB is sticking to a first come, first serve model, and is matching thousands of dollars per nonprofit organization (the GSA received a nice match in 2021).

So, if the Garden of the Sleeping Angel’s Mission (to provide an environment in which families can remember, reflect, grieve and begin healing following the loss of an infant or child) resonates with you, please remember us on November 17 via Give to the Max Day, or on Giving Tuesday November 29th on Facebook. Each and every donation, large or small, goes to maintaining our lovely, peaceful gardens, providing angel memorials free of charge to families, offering annual, significant events through the year along with spaces for celebration and remembrance, and the opportunity to participate in an ongoing loss group.
